The FXI - Optimum Tracking Filter indicator is a low latency adaptive moving average. It displays 3 moving averages that constantly adapt their calculation lengths in order to accurately remove 'noisy data' from the price action and more accurately reflect the direction of the price movement.
The three lines represented in the chart above are the short, medium, and long period adaptive moving averages. You can see the distances between the three adaptive moving averages show you the strenght of a price move. Also, you an quick see the relationship between the three (which are crossed up or down) and have a sense of the overall direction of the pairs price move.
